Clermont County Commissioners Proclaim May as “Leadership Month”; Ohio Senate Honors LEAD Clermont Academy for “Exemplary Achievement”
Clermont County, Ohio — Local and statewide government leaders formally celebrated May 2018 as the first Clermont County Leadership Month and recognized LEAD Clermont Academy’s contributions to the community.
Citing the value of developing leadership skills for the betterment of the Clermont County Community, County Commissioners proclaimed May 2018 to be observed as Leadership Month to recognize leaders “here and from Clermont County.”
In their proclamation, the Commissioners formally recognized the LEAD Clermont Academy and its mission to “improve the economic vitality of the Community through Stewardship, Leadership and Friendship.” They noted that the LEAD Classic program, now in its thirtieth year, has “helped shape the greatness that is the Clermont County Community.”
On its observance of Leadership Month, the Ohio State Senate honored LEAD Clermont Academy for its “exemplary achievement”, saying it “has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and its generous contributions have earned it the gratitude and respect of many.”
The Senate statement further noted that the Academy “strives to develop ethical and effective leadership skills in people of all ages....”
